For the next year, Christa (Hooked on Books), Jen (Almost Grown Up) and I will be posting about our writing adventures. We’ll be checking in every weekend with our word counts and story updates, as well as discussions on craft and inspiration. If all goes well, we may even have novels ready for revisions and beta readers by the end of the year!

It’s been a difficult week, with lots of IRL drama and fandom things, so my word count is pretty small. I’ve started feeling the pressures of my inner editor, who I managed to shut down back in Week 6. Distractions are no bueno, dear Campers, and when you pair five cute British boys with a rabid inner editor, it’s no shock that I’ve been a bit off the charts lately.
But here’s the fun part: there’s a character death a-comin’ round the corner in my story. Not telling if it’s at the beginning, middle or end, but I feel confident that my research will help make the scene believable (i.e. it won’t have major suckage). Can’t wait to tell you all about it soon!
*cackles* I love the mention of the five cute British boys. And hey progress is progress!
And I’m sure your scene is going to be great! But sad? Lol
Character death… I’m already scared and I haven’t even fallen in love with these characters yet.
